NOVEMBER 2017:
OUR FINAL MEETING….
We’ve been preparing for this and now it’s here. At the September meeting, former President Jim Smith presented other resources in the community for help with our computers, phones and other tech gadgets. In October, current President Steve Langford sent a group email with a historical overview, pointing out our high of 397 members (1997) and our low of 43 (now), not a sustainable path. Prof. Seth Freeman shared a vision of the future at the October meeting, including biological computers!
Now, at our last ’get-together’, we plan a fitting send-off: a nod to the future and a bow to the past.
To the future, Prof. Freeman from Capital Community will present one of our favorite things, some “Tips &Tricks” for the Windows machines that rule our lives.
To the past, Jim Smith and Steve Langford will lead us in sharing memories and then invite you to share yours! Please do!
Then it will be party time. Feel free to bring snacks and we’ll reminisce while we munch!
