INTERNET SIG
May 12 (2nd Mon)
at 2 PM
NOTE: We are changing the
Internet SIG to a 2 PM afternoon SIG at my conference
room at 241 Main Street in Hartford (free safe parking in back).
I'll email you directions
when you RSVP. We will look at Craigs List. For those that don't know, this
is a
very popular on-line classified advertising site. A great way to sell those
treasures and to find some
more treasures to replace those and fill that empty spot in your closet! We
will keep this to the basics
and if a more advanced session is requested, we can do that as well. As always
we will have time for your other Internet questions as
well. To RSVP, call Jim Smith at (800) 801-3996 or email at
jimsmith@blarneystone.com.
SPREADSHEET SIG
June 3 & July 1 (1st Tues) at 7 PM
Requests
for help with any spreadsheet topic will be put on the SIG agenda on request.
First priority is a discussion of questions from attendees. Everyone learns
from them. Bring a problem on a floppy disk, USB
flash drive, or camera card in a USB adapter, and take home a solution. No
question or problem too basic --
beginners welcome. Contact
Steve Langford at 644-9069 the day before the meeting or sooner if planning
to attend.
DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY SIG
June 19 (3rd Thurs) at 7 PM
Bring any great photos to share with the group. I'll show
some of my 2000 pictures from Israel. I'll
also review the Cannon G-9 Camera I bought as a backup to my Rebel. It performed
so well. that I
took it on many of the strenuous climbs to the archaeological sites. To
RSVP, contact SIG Host, Barry Gordon at
bgordon@snet.net.
GENEALOGY SIG
